Boulder Bash

A big dragon that is the color of the ground.  Ranging from sand white, to golden, to black, to red, to tan, and then to brown, the Boulder Bash can have stripes or spots as long as they blend in.  Their teeth are enormous but, surprisingly, they do not like most meat and prefer to eat plants (but they love bones).  Their teeth are mainly used for fighting, cracking boulders, and chewing on bones.  They have a tail that looks like a mace.  Many suspect that the inventor of the mace took the idea from the Boulder Bash.  Their tails are used for bashing boulders and for crushing skulls.  They can eat rocks and spit lava.  They look blind but the Boulder Bash have acute eyesight.  Boulder Bash’s are known for their fierce battles.  If a Boulder Bash enters another’s territory there will be a battle, if two want one girl there will be a battle, if a Boulder Bash is too slow, others will battle it.  If a Boulder Bash is in the mood for a battle, it will find someone to battle.  They usually battle amongst themselves, though, not always, but usually.
They lay 50 - 100 eggs at one time but they have only a 5% hatch rate.
Their bellies are covered in movable spine appendages called belly spines.
When they are babies there wings are smaller and have no rips or holes in them.  They are very very small, but grow very quickly and tend to eat a lot.

Food: Plants and bones and rocks
Wings: Extremely small. A boulder Bash’s age determines its wing size. When A Boulder Bash’s wings become too large they get in the way when they are underground and usually die soon after they become too big.  Usually another boulder bash ends up killing them.
Ears: Just slits
Scales: Keeled, but dulled.
Back ridge: Every couple of feet their is a long flat topped, slightly curved spike.
Intelligence: Extreme chemists and not bad with algebra, they tend to stay away from other things.

Colors: Earthly, usually the colors of the rock of where they were born with some other earthly colors.
Armed with: Lava spit, teeth, horns, bashing tail.
Defences: Ability to dig, and very tough skin.
Hunting ability: Don’t hunt.
Speed: Very fast diggers, slightly faster above ground.  Lethargic and short flyers.
Trainability: Very trainable, but do have a slight ornery streak and can be difficult to keep from fighting others of their kind.
Fear and fight factor: Not exactly scary if you know their nature, though can be scary while fighting.  Ornery and ruthless fighters.
